Roads, Railways, Airports, Power, Water, Fiber. Who knows where these things came from, or why they are physically where they are? What makes something become physical in a specific place?
Consciousness and intention.
Everything that man makes began as a thought. Thoughts manifest into physical being with will, determination, and focus. Once the initial physical investment has been made, adding to it becomes incrementally easier, typically. Thought transferred in to matter is consciousness manifested in to our physical reality.
The numbers zero and one explain this process. Ninety-nine to one-hundred is separated by one. When thinking about the number one from an investment perspective, the time, resources and effort of moving from ninety-nine to one-hundred is a relatively low Return on Investment (ROI) at 1%. One to two is also separated by one, but the difference is a 100% increase. Moving from zero to one in terms of thought to matter is inception. Zero to one is an infinite return.
In practical terms, it is like trying to calculate the value of the U.S. Interstate Highway System, or the Internet itself. There is an intrinsic value for its physical existence beyond the commercial value and the underlying asset value. It is the “existence” value, or the "inception to physical” value. It is infinite value, for without its existence there are no other values.
